For any of you wondering - Substack added a new “feature” to the compose page two weekends ago. It was a “slider” popup on the right side that was supposed to make it easier to add audio, add authors, maybe repost to notes as well… This thing took up about 30% of the compose window, and had a arrow to minimize it while one was working. I don’t think most people had this issue, and it may be due to running Ubuntu Linux as my operating system, but the button to minimize that popup would “click” - and there was an indication that the button had been clicked - and then absolutely nothing would happen. Not only could I not see a large percentage of the window I was typing in, but I couldn’t access the “preview” or “continue” buttons at all, meaning I couldn’t post, which was extremely frustrating.
Life has been very, very busy the past couple weeks. In some ways, I’ve been grateful for the “pause” on the Substack posting, but I’ve been continually checking back to see if the problem may have resolved. And today - voila! - no popup at all! Yay!
Thank you for being so patient with me. My last post on the Wordpress side can be found here: https://breathofhallelujah.com/2024/05/22/wordless-wednesday-64-three-little-birds/
Hope to be posting here again very, very shortly!
Good to see you back.
Enjoy the three day holiday!
