The 16th is the 106th anniversary of Alexander Schmorell’s birth, and the 14th was the 21st anniversary of my baptism in the Orthodox Church. Last year, I did a video for the event of the 20th anniversary - this year, even posting seemed to be too much amidst the exhaustion I feel right now. I don’t know that I felt any less exhausted then, it’s just that at the moment, there are three fairly large “house projects” looming over my head, and I’ve been doing all that I can to keep working, bit by bit, on those. In the meantime, I apologize that I haven’t been posting as frequently as I feel I should be.

It seems like he’s hanging on, and may reach his 99th birthday in October.
