I think St Alexander's life is extremely noteworthy and particularly "relevant" for today. He was someone who was faithful to the end in an insane world, he worked with people who were Protestant and Catholic... But I think it's important to know that he was a person, he had a personality beyond quoting Scripture or whatever she had him doing, and he was really torn in his own soul as to what he should be doing with his life, and pursuing something dangerous, etc. None of that is there either. I don't mean to harp on "he did some stuff that was really sinful" but airbrushing his life like this is not good either.
Tough but fair.
What a shame that this story is marred by lack of attention to these easily checked details.
